Op 26 April vonden de Latin Music Billboard Awards 2007 plaats in Miami, Florida.
De grote winnaar was nieuwkomer Mariano Barba die 4 awards in de wacht wist te slepen.
Voor single ‘Aliado del tiempo’ ontving Mariano Barba de ‘Hot Latin Song of the Year’ award. RBD won 3 awards, en de overige awards waren behoorlijk gelijkmatig verdeeld..
De show was een echt muzikaal spektakel door optredens van latin pop artiesten Paulina Rubio, Gloria Trevi, reggeaton artiesten Don Omar, Calle 13, Rakim Y Ken Y, Wisin Y Yandel en salsa artiest El Gram Combo de Puerto Rico die werd vergezeld door Gilberto de Santa Rosa en Victor Manuelle. Ook de Dominicaan Juan Luis Guerra zong tracks afkomstig van zijn album La Llave de mi Corazon.
